DRAB to FAB?

As most of you know, we just made a move and I've lost my creative-ness in this chaos so I thought two brains is better than one!

We have this great little "nook" in the house that I am using as the dining area...

 The new home came with curtains and for a lack of a better word, they are BORING! 

They match the wall color but we need something to make it POP!

This is where I need your help,

What color should they be?

They have those plain white tension rods that NEED TO GO and plain tan color tab top curtains that are boring!

A letter to my TWO Valentines

Dear Nathan and Noah,
This letter is let you know how much I love you, of course right, because its VALENTINES DAY!

It all started on this day, when we became "FOREVER friends and FOREVER lovers"

We became an eternal family. A bond that can never be broken was formed on this day.

We have fought and beat the odds numerous times, and will continue to fight because we are 

"TEAM HAWKINS!"

I cant imagine being with someone else, I cant imagine fighting this fight with any other man, I cant imagine raising my son without a more perfect daddy. 

I cant imagine my life WITHOUT YOU!

You have completed me in ways I cant describe.

So with that, lets take a look at our journey...

This was one of our first dates 

This was our first trip to Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk on the ferris wheel 

" I wanna ride for a LONG time, you understand?"

Our HONEYMOON in HAWAII!!!!!!

This is what we called our "first wedding" you remember when I said we have beat the odds? They all said we would never make it....  But this day turned into this day...

And we defied the odds TOGETHER.

Then a few years later we met this little piece of heaven

And we beat the odds again... they said we would never have babies together! Looking at him made us realize that God gave us a real life MIRACLE!

And here we are today, in even more LOVE than the day we met, stronger than we ever thought we would be, and even more determined to make a life for our selves.

  for sure we have been through our "ups" and "downs" and obstacles and even some heatbreak along the way, but I would have it NO other way. So with NO REGRETS, and alot of faith, we carry on with LOVE and hope for many more Valentine's days togeter!

So heres to you, Nathan and Noah, for being the best VALENTINE'S presents ever, and even though its our first Valentine's ever apart, I love you more than I ever have NATHAN!

This is Love....

So I just had to share my NEW necklace with you all by Amanda Lynne designs! So I originally saw this necklace on Little Miss Momma (who I just adore!) and the way she described her necklace totally brought me back to when Nate and I were dating... When I saw this necklace it was like instant LOVE

 It has N + S carved in what looks like a tree!!!!

It was like when we were dating, we never carved our names in a tree, but it totally brought me back to that new, young LOVE type of stuff and I sure miss that! You know that butterfly feeling in your stomach? That "oh my gosh, he loves me" kind of thing? This totally brought me back to that place.

 I know, I know  you might say "its just a necklace" but not to me!

 It's not just a necklace, it's a memory, it's a feeling, it's pure bliss! 

You see Nate is still in California, (We came without him and hopefully he'll be here soon!)

and every moment were apart my heart literally aches, I miss him next me more than words can say 

so, this necklace makes me feel that much closer to him!

I came across this shop when Noah was tiny (thanks to my sister in law) and we are HOOKED. Noah gets a new pair for each season just because they are so DARN cute!!

This is my new favorite pair, from Nowali's spring line...

Can I just SAY HOW STINKIN CUTE THESE THINGS ARE!!!!!! 

Dont they just look great on him?! He wears one of his pairs where ever we go! They are so easy to just slip on and go (the easier the better right?)

 They are even machine washable and have leather soles!!!

And I just had to share with you his OLD Nowali Slippers so you can see just how sturdy these babies are

 They have been through WATER, MUD and 2 winters of wear!!! These things are super durable and in my opinion, they ROCK!

Were Back, and were back BIG time!!!

We are officially moved in to our new home in Idaho! After some VERY sad goodbyes, a 14 hour car ride with a screaming toddler half the way, bad set of breaks, and many energy drinks later... WERE HERE!!

and were BACK BIG TIME!!!!!
